Happy New Year

As this year closes, I find myself (as I am sure we all do) reflecting on all the events of 2007. Like most years, it has been a combination of sadness and blessings. Right now, we are sharing the most recent blessing of a new grandson.

We can only hope that the 2008 will bring us many similar blessings along with good health for all of our friends and family.

Wishing you all the best in 2008......................................

Further news.........................

Well it's finally raining here in Charlotte. They have had a protracted drought and the rain is very welcome.

We're spending a quite day with Connor who has been just terrific. He rarely cries and is very content just to be held. Hunger and being wet seem to be his only unhappy times and these are easily cured.

Linda and I hope to see the BodyWorld exhibit while we are here since we missed it in LA. Everyone who saw it enjoyed it immensely.

Here are some recent photos of the new arrival:

Bundle of Joy

The Happening

On December 6th, Connor Raine Gomberg joined our family making this the 2nd grandson to be born this year. We are, of course thrilled. Connor's cousin Sam joined us in February and is busy training his parents Francine and Rob.

We are staying in Charlotte, NC with the proud parents Carl and Alexian. Grandma Linda is in her element helping with the baby and assorted chores (especially cooking) while I am generally trying to stay out of the way (not too successfully). We will be here for a week and than return to California.

We wish you all a HAPPY and HEALTHY NEW YEAR!

With Carl and Misha in Charlote, NC

As most of you know,, our family was expanded with the addition of Connor Raine Gomberg (7#, 2 oz) on the 6th of December. Linda flew out to help Misha as she had an unplanned C-section. All are doing fine. I arrived last Tuesday to add my broad knowledge of infant care to the new parents.

Connor has totally captivated us and we have now had the wonderful experience of welcoming two grandsons to our family in less than one year. Here are some photos (among many) of the new little guy.
